Our Purpose
H.I.S. Counseling is established to Help Individuals Succeed to overcome life-controlling problems. We provide class sessions regarding Addictions, Anger Management, Anxiety, Depression, and Couples Therapy. Each group will be designed from a holistic perspective, Physical, Spiritual, Mental, and Social, as well as other significant components. At H.I.S. Counseling our purpose is to help individuals regain hope, find peace of mind, and develop courage for change.
Our Approach
We offer: Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) approaches for effective outpatient group care. Since we live in a small community each group is designed to be more psycho-educational in nature. In short, the psycho-educational approach means we do not sit in group and primarily process our thoughts, we focus on presenting information for solutions.
